3" lift on a prerunner

Would it be a stupid idea to put a lift on a prerunner. From what I've heard most people say it's a waste of money. Opinions?

Going back to your question, who cares what people says. I have a sport, 2 wheel drive, with a 3" lift, and my truck doesn't even touch the dirt (mall queen). I just love the look.

Put a 9" lift on it, some 40"s, and shove it in their faces by running over their cars

 

Sounds like a great idea

 

In all honesty though, it's your money not theirs. If you want to wheel a lot, just save up for 4WD instead. If you just pound pavement, do the lift. You can still do easy and some intermediate trails in 2WD and good tires.

 

I'd probably only be mall crawling but the only time I go off road is when I go hunting

 

I have a 3" lift on my prerunner, mostly for looks but still enjoy it! I say go for it.
