I have an appointment tomorrow to get a 3" suspension lift put on my Tacoma. They guy asked if I wanted it higher or lower in the front and I said no so he said he would level it. Does that mean he will do 3" in the front and 2" in the back??

I'm certainly no expert on lifts but 3" in the front and 2" in the back will probably get you level, the back might sit a little higher than the front. If you go 3" in the front you are going to need aftermarket UCA's. Some people also need to drop their front diff so you don't destroy your CV shafts.
It would probably be a good idea to search this forum about all of the various lifts and see what others have had to do when lifting 3" in the front before your appointment tomorrow.

a 3" lift is max lift with a 4x4. I recommend doing 2.5" that way your not blowing your cv joints out constantly. you will need adjustable uca to get your alignment in spec. and a 1.5" aal in the rear should level the truck perfectly. just remember you will have to up grade rear shocks for rear lift.

OP is getting blocks, so not an adjustable height suspension setup.

How do you know this? He said suspension lift? At least to me that means 1 thing.

OP... NATE-O provided some good advice. Follow that.

Because no other suspension option is ever referred to as "leveling" or "3/2."

3/1 lowrange spacer lift 285/70/17 wildpeaks
    I had a 3/1 on my 05 and same ow on my14
It sits level and have/had diff drop on both
Used a lowrange 3/1 with front spacer and block in back. (here comes the shit storm)
    No new upper control arm
I think it depends on what lift you go with
