I'm looking for a 3" shock based lift and i'm new what's good and what's not and something that will not break my bank? So far my research has shown me that the OME from toytec and the pro-comp are some of the favorites. If money were not an issue..i'd probably go with the ultimate lift kit. Could any lift veterans enlighten me on what i should get price-wise? and where i can get it at for a decent/discounted price? Thanks so much! I appreciate it.

sweet, dsm is in san diego which means i can actually pic up the parts myself? is there a reason why any of you picked the brands you went with? i think i saw an OME kit from toytec as well. Is that different from the one's you guys are mentioning? Also, what about pro-comp? thats like about 200 bux cheaper than the OME kit.

oh! and i forgot to mention budget. i'm comfortable with spending around 500-700. i'll be mostly driving on road but would be fun to go do some minor offroading if possible.

I have the Pro Comp lift. If you can afford to pay more do it, especially if you want a good ride. Other than the stiffness I have no complaints.

Thats with the add a leaf. I am talking about the full kit. From toytec thats 1,203.99 to be exact  then i'd have to pay 77.32 for ground (cheapest) so out the door 1,281.31. So I'd be paying 281.31 for the same lift.
