3 Mirrors AC clutch kit

This kit uses a Chinese TAIDE bearing in the pulley.

The center bolt takes a #8 torx socket.

It took 6 washers total to give a 3.3mm clearance between clutch and pulley. This kit includes 3.

Supplied C-clips are thinner than OEM but had to be used as the thicker ones wouldn’t fit.

The positive connector should be cut off and new wire slid through the factory water proof rubber boot. The supplied positive male connector is too small anyway to make a good contact with the factory female connector. Crimp and solder a proper 18-gauge male connector on the 18-gauge wire.



A tiny 8mm bolt and thin metal bracket has to be removed for the new ground wire. An 8mm ratcheting wrench helps.

This kit corrected the engagement clunk and bearing whine on my truck with the original compressor.
