Depends what you want/need. I am happy with a 3" lift. Clearance comes from taller tires, so you might want tye 6" with tall tires, if you are going for the clearance for your truck.

Welcome to the site... Before people give you their opinions they will ask what type of budget are you looking at??? Is your truck going to be used a daily commuter or just for some wheelin.. There are TONS of options out there depending on what your budget is so I would suggest you just look under the suspension section.. Are you looking to upgrade on tires or use the one's the truck came with?? also anytime you do a lift you should "generally" upgrade your UCA's.. you can get away with stock on 2-3 inch lift but I would upgrade.. JMO...anyway welcome to the site.:D

I'm not worried about cost trying to find out what's recommended. I came from the diesel world. It's my everyday truck but I have a work truck so I don't drive it much. It stays on the street. I'm to anal about keeping stuff clean. What are the biggest size tires you can run with say a Toytec 3" lift

285/70/17 or 285/75/16. You will need aftermarket rims with different back spacing or new UCA's to run that size. If you offroad you will also probably rub the cab mount.

And with the 6" kit you will need new wheels (17" to 18" with 4.5" back spacing) to clear the tie rod ends. But you will not need upper control arms & you will not rub fenders or the cab mount with 33" tires (285's). Just some more info for your decision. ;)
