Email says my skids arrived today...:D

One other question, anyone running a full set with BAMF bolt on sliders? Just want to make sure the transfer case skid mounting points don't interfere with the sliders mounting point s before i go drilling holes

I'v got the BAMF bolt ons but I'm only running the IFS and Tranny skids..

IDK if the Slider mounting points are the same for your truck as my DC, but I'd be happy to take pics or measurements if that will help you out..

Bolting up is pretty easy. Small black bolts and washers hold the IFS skid and front of transmission skid. Blue bolts and washers hold the rear of transmission skid and front of transfer skid. Ardent those are all in and the transfer skid is even on both frame rails, screw in the self drilling silver bolts. Don't go too tight with them and strip them.

*4runner guys have holes in the front of the transfer skid in addition to the slots... Use the holes.

Got mine today. Looks like all the hardware made it. The bag was ripped and some of the hardware was rolling around inside the packaging, but it look like it's all herebyma4e7y_749420fed815a7cf7e12476fef757a760f336ef8.jpg

Ryan if possible can you just send me a set of bolts. Just let me know how much and I can shoot you money through paypal for it. Not worth the hassle of trying to find them at the store.

Looks like I have 2 full sets left. 1 set might be spoken for, but the other 1 is up for grabs immediately. Price will be the original $450 plus shipping since this is not technically part of the group buy. It's still a deal though.

Do you guys put the long blue bolts with the thread facing down or up? I was gonna do "up" but my buddy said not too. His reasoning was that if the head of the bolt gets stripped it would be hard to get the bolt off....But now I have about 1 inch of bolt sticking down...lol....

Install was fun! Had 6 guys standing around and nobody really helping! lol..Finally one jumped in when I was doing the self tapping screws....Those were a Biatch to get in.

Cant wait to go bang them up

Up, or you will just bend the bolt and it will be equally as difficult to get off

Definitely nut up. If the head gets damaged you can still put a vice grip on it and loosen the nut from the top.

Just flip it. Easier. Do one at a time and nothing will move.
