    If I go with 3." Pro Comp 4WD suspension lift kits. Do I need to install a differential drop kit & skid plate leveling kit for 2012 tacoma ?

    I wasn't gonna say anything... but I agree. I actually just made the switch from my pro comp 3" kit to my OME setup a couple weeks ago and its like night and day. 400 bucks more and you gets a much better ride, longevity, and performance. In running OME shocks, 885's, and the icon 3 leaf progressive pack.

    I have a 6" procomp lift. absolutly love it.
    If I could go back though I would get an OME for sure. The OME lift gets you more clearance under the crossmember. And its less expensive.

    I had thepro comp 3 inch lift also and barely had it for a year the rear shocks started leaking and the front the bottom bushing that bolts up to the lower control arm started to come off. If your only street go for it but offroad wise don't get it.

    If i had a Drop braket lift id put some Icon/king coilovers up front the procomp coil overs don't ride that nice.

    I got lucky because I found a great deal on my sway aways when I was removing my old procomp shocks I notice that.

    I bought a pro comp kit around a year ago for my 06 it's a decent kit for the look. Not to bad of a ride and fairly easy to install. Honestly tho I'm already looking around for upgrades on front and rear shocks. I'm thinking 5100 billies on the front and 5160s on the back.

    Thats the route that I will be going in the next year.

    Explain. I dropped down the diff and got the drive shaft with the extra union for added articulation. Ive had no issues.

    It makes the mounts lower there's a thread bout it. A member hit a rock with it and totally fucked up the mounts
