I'm one of those guys that made the mistake of buying the 3'' Pro Comp lift kit without doing proper research first. The spring rate, as many of you know is WAY too heavy/aggressive.

I wanted to know if anyone out there has kept the struts and put a different coil spring on? Like an OME or Eibach coil spring? what will fit?

Obviously what I need to do is buy some billy 5100s and some OME springs... But I wanted to buy the springs now and then buy different struts down the road when I have the money.

I've searched all TW threads high and low and couldn't find an answer to this. even emailed Pro comp and couldn't get an answer out of them.

    Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear that, I have been down that road as well... Whats the spring rate on those 700lbs? Talk to the guys at wheelers offroad, they are pretty helpful.
    Steel bumper&winch would help:yes:

Did you swap out the rear with the Dakkar? I was thinking of replacing the front first, then the rear. Any particular reason you replaced the rear first?
