I have a 2009 prerunner and was wanting to purchase a lift but didnt wanna just do a leveling kit and dont wanna go to a 6. I was wondering what size tires i could run and how big of a difference would it make.

With a 3" lift you can go up to 33"s with some minor trimming and maybe removing the front mud flaps. Now it depends on how much you are willing to spend on a lift? You can either go with a spacer lift or a full suspension lift.

just not the procomp. i put it on because i was impatient and ive been regretting that decision. it does ride really rough and you will need new ucas..unlike what procomp says in their adds. biggest tire that youll be able to throw on there is a 33 and that will rub..also unlike what procomp says. there are alot of other options out there and i would really take the time to look up some other kits. all im trying to say is that you only want to lift your truck once and be happy with it. just dont rush and regret like i did.

    Pretty much stock
I have the procomp 3in, it rides alot stiffer than the stock suspension, but compare the springs...what would you expect. I have no complaints about the ride, i also have LR Uca's. With any 3in lift your gonna need UCA's...they will be able to get the alignment close without it but the stock uca's will be almost fully extended down when sitting, so when the suspension articulates there isn't much room left for it to travel. Pics are in my gallery if you wanna see the 2.7 lifted.

I also got a steal on my lift...i ended up getting it for 320 dollars and only had to drive about 30 minutes to pick it up, brand new....so that has alot to do with how i ended up with my procomp.

The kit is ok. I got it pretty cheap and it's just that. It rides stiffer then stock. But not too bad. Off road it does ok. I've had no problems with it yet.
