3" revtec. Need UCAs?

My dbl cab has 3" revtec. at 65 to 75 it really start wanting to pull right or left. I'm about to get an alignement but don't want to beat a dead horse. I just got the truck and not totally familiar with lifts and all that. I have read some about UCAs but not sure as to when ssomeone would need them. Also what is the difference in aftermmarket ones and stock.

 

Yeah I've also heard of other Tacoma's pulling to the left or right after a 3" lift. I don't have that problem because I bought TC UCA's. Difference between stock and these ones are you get a lot more play and adjustment out of the TC UCA's so that you can get your alignment correct.

 

NEED is an overstatement. The alignment adjustments will be close-ish to in spec with the stock UCAs- but with aftermarket UCAs you'll be able to get them perfect. It won't explode or fail or anything cause you have the stock ones.

However the aftermarket UCAs are the accepted way of "doing it right the first time"

needed again is a bit strong...to do it right...Yes. You'll be able to do it with the stock UCA's but it puts a fir bit of strain on the CV joints and your alignment won't be quite right.

How do uca alow for better alignment are they longer. Is there different size uca? If so what size do I need? I know nothing about this!
