This month has been a weird one with my 1999 tacoma, I have gone through 3 TPS sensors. I have not actually tested any of them after pulling it off the truck but my computer continues to throw the code for it. I have heard some things about the IAC valve and I wasn't sure if that could be related to this problem in anyway. The truck has started to stall at red lights and is very sluggish on acceleration but after putting a new TPS in it stops all the problems. I just put a new PCV in today since it had never been changed and it was cheap, but problems continue. I need advice!!

You should just test them. It's pretty easy, just determine which wires are which and go from there. Should read near 5V, ground and something around .5V. You'll then want to probe the .5V and the ground and slowly phase your throttle from closed to wide open. You should expect to see a smooth increase from around .5V to around 4V (mine reads .5-3.5 on a 3.4L).

Chances are it's not your TPS that's malfunctioning. I had the same issue recently, went through literally everything and just recently managed to get it sorted out. I would start by cleaning your throttle body and IAC. My guess is it's the TB but you may as well clean the IAC while you've got it off.
