You have to jack it up and pull off the tires. Then remove the old parts and install the new parts. That's it.

But seriously. Your current description is worse than the woman in the AAMCO commercial.

A little something on what seems to be holding you up would help us help you.

I'll ignore the comments because I might have been a bit unfair in my analogies.

Except for my last line, which was 'A little something on what seems to be holding you up would help us help you.'

No one can help you unless you tell us what has the A Team here stumped.

Lol excuse me internet tough guys. We tore one side completely down due to replacing a cv axle while we were at it. Decided it'd be best to connect it to the upper a arm while reinstalling it. It's proving to be a bitch to get back in trying to wrestle it into place on the bottom. The other we broke away from the top. It is also being a pain trying to get back into place. It's honestly like it's lacking something.

I don't think he's trying to be a jerk. It's honestly just a couple bolts on top and a bolt on the bottom to take the coil and shock out. :notsure:

For getting everything lined back up nicely to put bolts in, get yourself a giant pry bar like this:

Those help out a lot, have one person pry on stuff to move things into position and put the bolts in real quick. The UCAs can be a little bit of a pain too, but it's just getting everything lined up under pressure that sucks.

Also, is your CV seated in all the way into the diff? Sometimes it's hard to tell and if it's not seated all the way in I could see why it's a PITA putting everything back together.

I laughed when I read this, you were being smart and I don't think a jerk at all. The original post was completely useless if they were trying to ask for help. If it was a rant then OP, we've all been there...

The pics with the tire on are the drivers side. You can see how much it lacks from meeting the bottom of the spindle. The pic with my hand in it is the passenger side and it's hard to see but you can almost see lower is almost horizontal. One of my best buds (one helping with the install) called his brother in law and he agreed something isn't right and he's installed several within an hour or two.

Cause normally 2nd gens have that long skinny part on the bottom. I could be wrong though. Where'd you get this setup from?

Those are the adjustable coilovers. Those are just 5100s/eibachs

Like I said, I could be wrong, but it looks like 2nd gen stuff. But I AM used to seeing all the Adjustable COs all the time  I just know when I saw 2nd gen shocks I always thought they looked unusually thin at the bottom.

Where'd you get this stuff from? If they are first gen stuff, try putting a jack below the LCA to raise it up.

That would explain a lot. 2nd gen as in the coil itself? I call myself double and triple checking and it was calling for the same year model when I ordered it
