Some guys run 275's so that way they don't have to trim. And what type of shocks are you trying to run? You can run coilovers and have a full three inches of lift but you will want to get aftermarket UCA's so you can get back into stock alignment specs.

The Stage 4 kit comes with UCA's doesn't it? If so, I would set them to the full 3 inches of lift if it were me. Are you planning on wheeling it a lot? If you go with the full 3" then your CV's will be at a steeper angle than they would be if you did 2-2.5" of lift.

total Chaos are "Built using all chromoly tubing and 1" Teflon lined Uniballs" from TC's website.

Icons are "•1026 DOM Seamless Tubing•CNC Bent Tubing•CNC Machined Bushing Housings and Sleeves•4130 CNC Machined Uni-ball Cup•17-4 High Grade Stainless Steel Uni-ball Adapter Pin•High Precision CNC Machined Pin Provides OEM Like Fitment•Professionally Precision Welded" from ICON's website

the TC have been out since 05 i think or close to it. the ICON's have been out a year at most. most people have TC's cuz they have been out longer and are more known and probably recommended more.

Yeah it does. And I'd get the extended travel. I don't wheel a ton, but I want it to be the best possible when I do.

Well Ryan do you like your icon uca's?

It comes with billet UCA's correct? If you get extended travel coilovers then you are going to want uniball UCA's to get that extra travel.

The Icon tubular UCAs are a great option. We have installed a number of them and are really pleased with the results. The Billet UCAs have a heim joint which will allow for more exact alignment adjustment, if you're looking for the best of the best this is the route to go.

Yep. Great compromise. Still have offroad capability for a vehicle that is 80%+ used on the road. CV joints are not stressed and the ride is great. Unless you are rock crawling or banzaii through the whoops this is a great option.

So after talking to the guys at SDHQ, I think I am going to go with the Icon Stage 5. The setup that Icon did for this one is crazy, and I can't wait to try it out.
