    Hi All

New to ownership. Amazed to be quoted $1,000 plus for 30K service on 2015 Tacoma.

    Needs Plugs?
    Needs Diff oils?

    Any thoughts on this offer?

    Cheers

Could you give a detailed breakdown on what they are quoting you?

    I spent $35 on M1 oil and a filter, $45 on M1 gear oil, $40 on plugs, $15 on a cabin filter.

$0 on the tire rotation, $0 on cleaning my AEM air filter, $0 on labor, as I did it all myself. Well...I did charge myself a couple of Coronas

That potential bill is some motivation to learn to do your own maintenance, I'd be selective on what you need done by the dealer.
TW has a thread for anything you need done and how to do it.

I do my 30k services for less than 250 in parts if I remember correctly, most of it purchased off Amazon. They are ripping you.

Do you have a manual trans? Assuming they are throwing that into the mix, you're looking at engine oil change, manual trans fluid, front and rear diffs, and spark plugs..?

I can't see that being more than $500 or so on the high end, $1000 is crazy.

BTW the manual trans and diffs are super easy to DIY and save $$$$$

Thanks All. I'm in Co. Near Boulder.

Was stunned even with all the oil flushes and filter (Air, Fuel, Cabin) Rear Drum adjust.

I'll shop around and plan to do most myself.

    Same as everybody else...
You can probably do most of the maintenance yourself. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person and I do most of the work on my truck. Replace the engine oil drain plug with a Fumoto valve if you plan on doing your own oc's
