    Hello guys,

I just reached 30 000 miles with my 2008 TRD sport Taco, I already changed the engine oil (5000 miles) and air filter and I need to order new spark plugs (Denso) to change them...

However what do you think I must change as well at 30 000 miles and 9 years? Front and rear diff? Automatic transmission? (I heard that the A/T Fluid was factory low and it as good to refill it? How can i be sure?)

    Thanks

At 8 years old I'd be swapping all the fluids regardless of mileage. This includes brake fluid, coolant, transmission, axles, and t case.

    Hihi
What do you recommend for oil for LSD rear axle? Front axle? A/T Fluid?
GO OEM toyota or mobil 1?

I have no experience with the lsd so someone else will have to help you there (I'd just go Toyota and not worry about it). On front and t case Mobil 1 is a popular choice around here. I would lean toward full synthetic considering the age you put on in that number of miles.

For your 2005-2008 TRD Sport LSD rear end, I would recommend 80w90 regular gear oil with 4oz of lsd additive. Front axle and tcase use 75w90 synthetic gear oil. For atf, use Toyota WS or Valvoline MAX life full synthetic. JMO.

Last night at the local Walmart I saw Valvoline 80W-90 that came with an LSD additive.

I just had the 30,000 service on my 2015 DCSB TRD 4x4 and have kept up with all of the 5k service intervals so not much of a chance for any real aging in 20 months I've had the truck. I agree with a previous poster, for an 8 year old truck I would change all fluids.

More importantly, how do you only have 30k miles on an 08. I have 56k on my 13.

Normal 30k interval is front and rear diffs, transfer case, plugs, engine air filter, cabin filter. With that age definitely brake and steering fluid. Like others said, possibly transmission fluid that old.
