I have been in the car business my entire life, and even am certified on numerous high line brands, and was a warranty administrator... I have worked for most brands, and even have certification in warranty processes for Aston Martin. I have currently been with the same brand going on 9 years now... I have seen everything. That is why when I bought my taco the first thing I looked for was exclusions of coverage.

And I don't know anything about Toyotas, but I know how their luxury box appointments are at levis , what do I know about anything...but I know I changed my $30 dollars worth of plugs at 30k miles like the schedule says to.

That's the Toyota luxury box at Levi's? Is that just a bunch of bags of chips on the right? No windows? I figured it would be better. No wonder Kaepernick wants to leave

Well, this post escalated quickly! Thanks for all the help. The grease points on the driveshaft took me 15mins. Super easy!

I just had my 25k, last of the freebies... The dealer actually sold me an extension for $299 that gets me through the 30k, 35k, 40k, 45k, 50k. He mentioned the 30k was a big one and the cost of that one alone was over $300.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Just hit 20K, and dealer mentioned the same extension. Was gonna ask what the hive here thought of it, mainly if it was worth it. I can do a lot on my truck, but my life gets busy sometimes so I'm not opposed to Toyota doing the work.

I should ask about it cause, according to their pricing, at $80 per oil change plus $350 for the 30k, that's $750 right there! So $299 is a good deal. Provided they're Doing the work. I get suspicious of dealers

What do they say the 30K includes?

Oil change at $80 is outrageous.

My guess is the 30K adds air filters and spark plugs and $350 is also outrageous.

Unless you drive all the time in 4wd I would not worry about transfer case. I did mine at 50k and it looked brand new. I will never do it again
