    Yep, I scored a deal on this bike because the PO was a dumbass and tried to fix it completely wrong. It's a rare year so it has a lot of collector value.

    I don't even have a real motorcycle myself since I always have one as a project. I just ride my little honda ruckus for cruising to campus and shit. Insurance is dirt cheap and it's paid for.

    Thats what my 250 was for.. rode it to work. 60 mpg and $15 a month for insurance.

    Mine was an 09 250r.. and then cop that gave me a ticket for my accident decided to post that I had an accident on 11/15 and then got a ticket on 11/17.. So insurance looks at that as a "sports" bike along with an accident and a ticket within 2 days lol hence the $180-200 a year

    Probably not. I don't wanna cut up anything. I want to be able to go back to stock if I need to. And I like parking underground. So negative on the 6". Still debating on the Toytec ULK or the MT kit from DSM. At least I have til my vacation is over to ponder about it.
