    If you do a u bolt flip kit it moves the shock mount location closer together.

    Stock rear droop? Like stock travel..

    Welcome to the mod train haha

    But you need longer shocks.

    Best way is to take off the shocks and flex it out. Measure the distance between the shock mounts and get compressed and extended lengths and find a shock that gets as close to that as possible.

    What?? Doing a u bolt flip gets rid of the shock mount completely. You can put new ones where ever you want..

    7.5" shock OEM. So about 8" wheel travel give or take. Not much.

    If he gets longer shocks the ya. Go for it and put limit straps on.

    But as he sits with stock travel shocks..or 8" I'm assuming..no point.

    If he is gonna do limit straps and bumps might as well get some 7100 short body 12" stroke and get longer shackles to get 11"+

    Most shocks that are for 3" lift are 8.5" what my first set of 5150s where. All normal 5100s are that size too. I kinda doubt they are 10". They would work then or damn near work.
