Nope. The new plates are just flat. You don't reuse the stock ones.

 

So I have stock 16" wheels and 1.5" wheel spacers. Realistically what trimming would need done for 285/75? I want 255/85 but I might be stuck with another set of goodyears if they warranty pro-rate mine for a good amount plus the $160 rebate.

Sheesh 500?? Damn. For that I'd want 12" stroke for sure haha that's a lot of money for shocks.

god Icon is bitch..i can't find anywhere on their site even a catalog to show different shocks and sizes..not lengths anywhere..

and they will work to be stuffed..just no droop..the shock would be hanging the axle and your not gonna droop a wheel much lower then you see it now..

Id bet some compressed and extended lengths and go from there. Even if you have to get some 5125s for now be better in the long run.

 

I know you don't use the stock ones. Welp, seems like a good time for some triangulated shocks?

 

yea you could add an upper cross memeber and mount em however you wanted. /\ more for crawling, || for high speed.

That option should be fine as long as you run a 2.0 shock. At least thats how it works on second gens, could be different on 1st gens

 

You can drive the truck without shocks if needed. It'll just perform different but won't hurt anything.

 

can't do that on 1st gens. not on a stock axle. That shock is out side the frame. Out axles aren't wide enough for that. You can do that with a tundra axle though, but is 6'' wider. What im gonna do for my rear LT setup.

you have to keep the shocks inside the frame on ours and sadly the bed floor is right there..

 

just take the shocks off and keep some weight back there and don't drive like a mad man. I did it for a week like that.

No I have not, but if I do have to do it one day I will and not worry about it. Why shouldn't you do it? Yes the vehicle will handle differently but other than that? Think I hit a nerve
