5100s are fine for 2'' lift.

5100s would not work great with dakars and 2'' shackles. You wouldn't gain any droop at all that the shackles should give.

ill look up the catalog but pretty sure 7100s are totally custom valved. If you just buy em from MC they will work great. and you can always change em to whatever.

Energy Suspension makes some good 4'' bumps.

That's tempting, but i has no monez right now (well i do, but it's gonna get spent on a duck gun), but what you're selling those for is a steal.
    But they has no rezzie.

I'm not getting dakars, i'm gonna refurb my springs.
But i might get shackles later when i go to 2.5'' up front.

    Deavers not dakars

But same idea regardless, the 5100's are definitely limiting droop a bunch.

    Marlin Crawler.

    http://www.marlincrawler.com/suspension/shock-equip/bilstein-7100-series

Id ask what valving they come with as it looks like there are a LOT of choices.

255/60 would be good place to start though. pretty standard

Yea short body means..smaller shock body length. Yes get the short body.

Which ones? Lots of sizes there. Wait till you have the leafs and how much lift they give. OMD ones can be anywhere from 2-4"

    Pick a color. Haha

Just making sure the mounting points would work.

I'm thinking that if i can get away with stock shocks (for a little after the lift) i'll box the frame and do custom shock mounts.

But FOA isn't as good as the others correct? (i think i read it in the LT BS thread, but lots of info in there, so i get confused sometimes)
