yep..trail limo..i stand by my last reasoning.

no frame to tie the end part into due to 2nd gen crappy frame design.

 

same issue though. The rear frame jumps up too soon to make a good rear leg.

 

i don't think so. I mean you cant have a leg cause the body is in the way..just not a good way of doing it..

luckily we are united and strong and help eachother out..and most of us don't need recused when that happens. Just 30 mins and a spare axle and good

 

i can't speak for 4runner..thems weird..the same you'd think..but different..

the few time i have seen them really hit something hard and flex as much as they do..im amazed..haha though they would die on Shoshone

 

I've never had cv troubles either... it's almost like they're not even there

 

I've never broken a CV either. I've been rolling on one with a ripped boot for probably a year and a half now. Zero grease left in it. lol

They see me rollin. They hatin.

 

hell i blew a LBJ and my CV stayed in ha and rolled on blown boots for over a year too.

Also thats a 2nd gen 4runner..

 

can't say i blame you..like 5 gens of 4runners..haha

We have a friend like that. Very great guy and fun to wheel with but always has the worst problems. Had a runner. Only one I've seen to break dana 60s, always blew out hubs, rolled it, his tow rig always broke down, and once his tongue on the trailer broke off going down the highway. Once too on the way to a camping site his truck couldn't get up a dirt hill with the truck and trailer. He slid backwards and jack knifed into a ditch. He tried to drive his runner off it and found out he forgot to weld on his spring perches so his entire back axle fell off. And recently the engine blew up on the way to a trail so the runner is dead now lol. That's the short list.

But he's building up a new rig now and hopefully he'll be out again soon with us.

oh nice! i love 1st gen 4runners. Only gen id own probably. So cool.

 

In other news, drove an hour and 15 minutes to get a stepside bed for my Ford yesterday morning. Got there and the guy wanted 300 bucks for a bed with no flares, rusted bottom and top rails. And rusted out hinges on the tailgate...the search continues...

 

With it being an early 80s model yeah...it was in better shape than the one I got now...

 

Buy it and send it to me for my birthday

 

Oh come on! My birthday is soon..would be perfect..haha
