    The better coast
What's the point of taking an exam if they tell you what's in it? :p

In school they tell you what's gonna be on the exam by having you read certain chapters.
    JW?
It's like the safety course you have to take to get your license except with the exam you don't have to do 10 hours of classroom.

oh ok. we have a hunter safety class, most meet 4 nights a week and on the last night they take a 100 question test. it’s not really all that hard, and you have to be 10 years old to take it.

they do offer an online test, but you still have to go in and take some other test/retest. and most the younger kitds/teens that take the online test get like a 95+ and then they go take the retest or what ever and fail really bad. you have to make like a 78 or something or better to pass. the parents get all mad and shit, but they probably helped the kids pass by giving them the answers or the kids try and google them, so they are not really learning the stuff.

    Ahh, OK
I'd be fine doing something like that, but i'm supposed to be hunting this weekend with my cousins, so i'm gonna try to get my license ASAP.

We have a online thing also, you do a bunch of stuff online, then go in for a 4 hour classroom, but they don't have any of those scheduled for the next 20 days.

I'm gonna call back and ask what's on the test.

and this1 dang kids these days don’t know what JW is... I remember using that to shorten text back when i was in middle school and you were limited to how many characters you could have in a text. I think it was like 160 or something, which you used up really fast.

I thought the hunter safety course was a good idea. We watched some crazy videos that scarred me for life. One was a guy that was in the desert in a jeep alone, it broke down, and he died while walking to find help. They showed his body burnt to a crisp by the sun after laying there 5 days. Another guy's whole foot turned black and had to be cut off from a snowmobile accident alone in the middle of nowhere. At 12 years old it never really sank in, but now I really think about that kind of stuff when I go and do dangerous activities. I will still do them but I try to have another person along in case something goes south.

Interesting. I don't see how that kind of certification could save you from legal issues. To me it just says you can prove you know how to use the software.
