Idk I was following a Chrysler 300 donk and I could see daylight between his tire and the road over each expansion joint because the rubber bands have no give.

Looked like the definition of sketchy.

Yeah, but the difference between us & them is we actually do the work on our trucks, where as they take their car to a shop & have them put the stuff on/in it

I agree that they do it "because they like it". Still think if you do the work yourself you'd like it 10x more

i bet you'd be surprised how many do it themselves..other then maybe the paint. And really..who is gonna do that themselves? Very few can paint a vehicle properly themselves..

 

Lol I was talking about supercharged, lifted, dubbed out, candy colored, subwoofer thumpin' Impalas (or whatever else). But yeah very few can do, or have the tools to complete a high quality paint job

 

yea im sure plenty of them know how to do all of that..no different then most of us..a majority of people on this site don't do any major work to their own truck either..

Well I don't know any, and haven't been exposed to that lifestyle or the people associated with it so yep I suppose my post a little while back would be a direct reflection of my stereotypical view of those individuals. It is what it is, but I'll sure take your insight and keep that in mind for future reference
