Time for a drive

 

Yeah, I never went to Kansas City once while I was here for 6 months. I'm going to have to drive up there one weekend and check it out.

I'm down!

 

Me and sacrifice are pretty close together iirc, we could meet up halfway with you or something

Are you driving back and forth from Wyoming occasionally? Which route do you take?

 

haha not occasionally..no..19.5 hour drive man! haha

lets see..last time i came in through basically I70 to Kansas city..then I80 to Cheyenne and Then its all state high ways mostly.

Ill go home for xmas just on I70 to denver though this time..have some stuff to pick up for my truck

 

Ok I wasn't sure where in Wyoming you were from, just checking if you came across interstate 70 80 or 90. I come home usually at thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas, but my drive is a cakewalk at 12 hours haha

 

yea sorat both 80 and 70. I have to go the the northwest corner of the state so yea..long ways.

12 hours..wish that was all for me..id go home for thanksgiving if that where the case.

Such a long boring drive from Cheyenne to KC...

 

And I live close to home now. I still don't want to ever go there....

I think it would have been 100x better to move close to where I grew up if I was still single... I think that's why I wanted to be back in the NW for so long. Now that I am married, it's not quite the same.

 

I'd be happy living in the same town I grew up in. I sometimes wish I would've just went to college, but I wouldn't have gotten to see the parts of this country that I have nor would I have my Tacoma... Haha

My main issue with being away from home so much is only getting to see my gf every 4 months...

 

hell i went to college for 3 years in my piss ant home town cause i loved it so much...just..no Bachelors there.. should have gone to Greely Co though..

 

I'm 3 hours away from home and I still only go back a handful of times a year. There's nothing there for me. I've moved on so long ago that I have no interest going back. I see my family in other ways. Can't wait to get the hell out of Iowa.

 

I have no family tied here soon after my parents move back to Minnesota, and no job holding me here, and school is about over. After that I can do whatever and Iowa isn't in the plan. I like the midwest climate but Iowa is boring.

Yea seattle wouldn't be bad..or Portland..good studio scenes there..but id still rather be in MT or Wy..

 

I would go with Bend Oregon if I moved back to OR.

Otherwise, I probably will end up in Bellingham when I retire.
