mine wasn't anything special. CX500d...fun though. Nothing beats cruising around the wyoming country side on a bike..very calming..fun too. But..not for me in the long run.

 

My FZ6 is also for sale if you feel like driving all the way to this hell hole.

 

haha...i can think of many truck parts when the taco was down that would not have worked so well...haha

 

So my gf was talking about how she wanted this for a future kid's bed...




At first I said that there's now way I would build that. But then I thought about it..... This is the best excuse to be able to buy a welder and a nice grinder and other tools as well!

 

Yeah and for that you need a real vehicle. The bike was nice to daily ride to work and back when I was in school. Sucked when it was 15* out but the MPG made it worth it.

yea true. I just use a pedal bike..best MPGs ever haha IMO if your in a 5 mile radius..thats your best bet anyways.

 

Yeah, I found the guy that made it and he had posted the build on a forum.

He said that with the money he spent on the bed and damaged cab, he could have bought a really fancy kids' bed.

 

But it's way cooler than a fancy bed.

And who needs an excuse to buy a welder?

 

Man, I'm a puss then I started taking the truck again when it got down to like 40 in the mornings. My commute is only like 2 miles though so not a huge gas difference

 

Well considering I won't have a garage until I get married.... It kind of becomes a two person decision when buying things in the $1,000 price range...

 

Lol my commute is about 15 miles now, all 70mph. anything below 50 I'm taking the truck. In school it was maybe 5 miles of back roads.

Also brake fluid is paint's worst nightmare, I relly hope none of it splattered on your fender. If it did, rinse it off asap, don't wipe it.

 

I just saw it on netflix and thought it sounded like a good way to see crazy/stupid people.

most of the OWB holsters are comfy (serpa is the most comfy i've used)


Is a 2wd capable enough to on a difficult enough trail for sliders? (i think yes, M3 thinks no)

 

ack...it seems like it just started to fling up iinside the fender. I'll check the outside in the morning.

 

I kind of think if you're going over rocks big enough to hit your sliders then a 2wd might be struggling a bit to get over them.

 

I think any truck used off road could use a set of sliders. I've been trail riding with a 2wd Sequoia and I was amazed with what he went through on it.

 

2wd's are more capable than you're giving them credit for.
