I wasn't judging on whether 2wd's could make it through that trail, I wouldn't say that because I haven't been there.

You've never been to the trails I've been on either? You don't have the type of terrain I'm talking about in New Mexico.

I said that you can bypass the harder parts of the trails to get to the easier parts that I've seen 2wd's go through. I have been on the trails in New Mexico where I have seen 2wd's go through some stuff that would be a lot better with sliders.

 

let all really remember the best use of sliders anyways...

Not to many around here, I could drive a little while to something easy, but I don't want to drive.
Most common around here is pancake rock, 4x4 is required, and armor is recommended.
I'm getting sliders before I go just so I have the extra bit of protection.

But getting a shotgun is higher priority

dude..the shit i used to do in my truck with no armor was crazy. Armor just makes you want to hit shit..driving with no armor makes you not want to hit stuff so you pick better lines.

Really i think everyone should start out offroading with a vehicles with no armor and no lockers. Makes you pick lines MUCH better cause you have no choice.

then armor..you appreciate it and learn how it is okay to slam shit on some things

then a lock. Now you can finally appreciate what you have in the rig. You know how to pick good lines. You know what the armor can bang over and into, and now you have a locker to add the final touch of it to make most things easy.

I'm not gonna be beating on the truck even when it has full armor.
I just don't want to crease the edge of the cab while wheeling, but I won't be wheeling anytime soon, I've got other big hobbies that will start next weekend.

And 4-low is awesome.
