Ding ding ding. Winner winner chicken dinner.

The deal still isn't done so it doesn't matter yet, but one does not simply pass up a deal like this.

I'm the same way. I guess I haven't had the taking a kid home from the hospital in it experience, but almost made a few in the passenger seat/bed ;)

Mine was my first vehicle and I would never try to sell it, but if some guy offered me over about $12k I'd give it to him on the spot

I'm gonna bow out of this gay ass bickering since I should be driving a Prius and I really don't care what other people think, especially randoms on the Internet. It's all good though, at the end of the day I don't take it to heart and will do what I want anyway.

Mine's an 04 5 lugger though with 112k miles, not worth anything near what yours is. 15k offer on mine would be insane

I hardly ever get to engage my 4x4 because a lot of the off roading that I did which I would hardly call off roading can be done in 2wd. It might snow tomorrow morning so I might wake up an hour before work and drive around in it. They don't plow or anything in my town but it's likely any snow would be ittybitty

So you may have a mobile billboard of your products but if you dont wheel how can you prove their durability? Other than other members.

Oh no, it's starting again haha

That's the only way to prove it essentially, and I see the problem with that. But people know this beforehand and if they want to buy his products, then that's on them.

It seems that, so far he hasn't had any issues with his product from those that bought them. I'm not saying whether or not his are better products than others, but evidently they work great for those that have bought them.

If one of his products does have issues, then we will get to see how he handles it. Only time will tell on whether or not he has good customer service. Seems to be doing well so far? :notsure:

That being said, I'm not going to be buying skids from him right now. Mainly because I feel that the transfer case skid could be better reinforced. But that isn't to say that it's not strong enough to stand up to wheeling. Again, only time will tell.

I offer the angle iron reinforcement for the extreme cases.

It doesn't matter though, this will probably be the last time I offer those skids. Too much time involved and not enough reward. I don't even think I will waste time on 2nd gen. I have to go through all this again with a new set.

Like I said before I have tested the bumpers. Pulled 2500 lbs since I don't have trailer brakes. Snatched on trucks up inclines, angled, and trees still in the ground. Winched trees out of the ground. I can't test the skids in a farm field.
