Theres a guy running around on here with a 12 or 13 and its barcelona red and its lifted and has wheel spacers and its literally the most beautiful truck ive ever seen, Its just not worth it for me to trade right now though. Id rather keep my truck super nice, Pay it off and have a more classic tacoma rather then the newest.

No lifted 12s oe 13 here yet. And I love the old trucks. MY buddy sold his 88 SAS on 38s in October for a 99 Z71...But, my other friend has an 88 he's gonna try to straight axle this summer.

Im not that serious into offroading, IFS is good enough for the weekend trail rides and such. I think if i ever got real serious into it i would buy an older jeep or FJ40

I was randomly looking at job postings for a friend that's graduating and found my dream job. But I still have another year of school. :( I can only hope another one comes along next year.

    What's your dream job?

I can't tell you how much of a difference working your dream career, rather than other jobs. Prior to getting my dream job I hated what I did. The job was great and I learned a lot but knowing I did not want to do it for the rest of my life made me miserable. Now I love coming to work I love my job and the crew I work with. I look forward to coming off my 4 day to my shifts(minus not seeing my wife and daughter for two days).

My dream job is being a field engineer for any company that builds gas-powered machinery. They test the equipment in real-life scenarios and try to break it. Then if it breaks they figure out why and how to correct it.
Arctic Cat is hiring a field engineer to test ATVs, snowmobiles, and everything else they make. It's in the right location (MN) and it would keep me interested for more than a month.

Then you don't wheel enough lol I've never broken one but when I've wheeled with some other Taco guys they would break multiple ones on trail runs. Depends in how you drive as well.

I broke my OEM one yesterday... They are pretty strong though and it takes a bit to break them. I got high centered so it was at full droop and wasn't quite getting traction so I turned the wheel to full lock to put the tire into a better spot on the bank and pop... haha

I have abused the shit out of mine in the rocks and I popped it in some dirt...

Well, I know two guys that have older Toyotas. (One's a 98 taco and one an 88 pickup) They beat the hell out of theirs and nothing breaks. On the other hand, seems like the chevys are always breaking. One guy has gone through 4 or 5 CVs on one side in the last year and a half.

Put 35's on a 1st gen with a front locker and you can snap them on command. One of my local friends goes through like 1 a month when wheeling. Every once in a while he breaks the side gear shaft that connects the ADD to the diff instead of a CV.

And that's why my Ford will have a straight axle after the 37s haha

Silas? Not sure he counts yet since he hasn't had 37's for very long yet and he broke one already. haha I'm sure throttle control plays into it too though. My friend has a heavy foot and a supercharger. Although the few I have seen him break involved a light foot and crawling so it is funny how that works. haha

I was out wheeling a month ago with a ranger that had a solid axle up front and 33's with no locker and he shattered the u-joint while crawling up a ledge... My joke was, "I thought that was why you went to a solid axle..., so you wouldn't break shit"
