I agree counting calories FTW! And watching sugars helps too.

Actually carbs are what cause you to gain weight. And I also dont have many calories due to this diet either. Idk how well its working but my GF says I look skinnier so I guess it counts lol

somewhat true. gotta get your mixture of slow and fast carbs right and the carbs that are causing you to gain weight is because your not burning them off. your body runs off of carbs and protein so i understand diets that dont cut those out but i cant stand the ol school atkins diet where its no carbs, sure you lost weight fast but your also doing long term damage.

Yes that.. but what do you think sugars are?

Besides I eat right.. I eat any meat, fish, vegetables, etc that I want. I dont eat 0 carbs I just stick with around 20.. I stay away from sugars.

    Jesus Christ...

I'm doing this diet as a jump start.. I'm fat because I constantly ate unhealthy foods, lots and lots of grains, and didnt work out..

By doing the atkins diet I've been able to limit the portions I eat and I have more self control. Like I said, I'm done after Thanksgiving and will just continue to monitor my portions and my sugar and grain intake.

No pounds.. yes about 20 grams.

And yes I agree, I'm not 100% strict on the Atkins diet as I still eat fruit every day

Run run run. I'm down 23lbs in 3 weeks. When I'm on shift I run run run on the treadmill I try and get 15-20 miles in my 48 hour shift . On my 4 off days I just maintain the weight I lost by eating right and lifting still. I got lazy with the move and I have a million other excuses but I got fat even though I was working out I was just going through the motions. And that's not fair to my wife because she is smoking hot hahaha.
