Found my new head unit. Going with Pioneer since it looks like they improved quite a bit since their walmart and best buy special days. 16 band EQ on this bitch. Gonna wait a few days to see if it gets any cheaper.

A local member said the 5100's on his work truck have fluid on the outside, but they call it normal, and the truck is still drivable.

If they're anything like Doetsch was for me, the warranty was "buy another one, ship the bad one back to us, if we deem it is defective we'll reimburse you"

Seemed like the stupidest warranty I've heard of, I just ignored it and nothing seems wrong, it could well be that shocks leaking a little oil is "normal" I guess

it also helps alleviate people just trying to get free stuff this way. and makes sure that it is on the customer to return defective equipment. but i do understand it is a pain
