I'm really disappointed in Sears quality lately. If the deals are good I will buy, but otherwise craftsman isn't worth much anymore. It's kind of sad.

 

They are built in China now, what do you expect?

 

That's what I'm saying. Craftsman used to be American made. My dad has some decent quality craftsman stuff from years ago. One day I will inherit his snap on stuff so I'm not going to buy snap on yet.

 

my younger brother ate all of the thanksgiving meal, went back for 5ths. needless to say, I wasn't able to take any leftovers home. =\

 

We didn't get leftovers either. I think we're going to make a mini thanksgiving meal that way we can enjoy again lol

 

If you were military, you could get it cheap

 

Ehhh it's not overpriced. Snap on, Mac, matco, proto and the other good brands are actually worth it. They don't cam out and fit tighter on bolt heads to prevent stripping and help create max torque. Some of my craftsman sockets have gouges in them from slipping. It's actually pretty impressive what they good ones can do.


I can get them cheap for business use, but free is cheaper so I'll buy the craftsman for now and it can be a spare later.

 

So i guess my parents are getting the house appraised today. My dad has this idea that we don't need to do much cleaning..so all the doors have shoe marks on them and the floors are kinda dirty etc..

I don't get it..if you're going to spend 600ish on the appraisal, you might as well make the house clean for it

 

I like my craftsmen. I've never had any issues with it. Would I like to have snap on sure but I can't justify the cost either.

 

Going to show my mom what wheeling is today...should be interesting. Was going to bring my step dad too and we moved around all this stuff so he could go see too and then somebody else came and messed it up so now he can't go. Hopefully I can show him someday.

 

Im an auto tech and when you use those tools day in and day out there is a big difference and then it's worth the extra money for the quality..

 

I bought some kobalt tools at Lowe's, lifetime warranty on everything in the kit. just walk in with tool that shits the bed and they hand me a new one.

My brothers fiancées parents have a 60" or 65" HD 3d TV we watched before and after the Thanksgiving meal yesterday. I don't watch TV by that was awesome

The cabinet thing it was in had probably a millimeter of clearance on either side of the TV.
