The first fast and furious movie is on tv. I don't feel like watching it now.

I don't watch them anyway since they destroy so many nice cars and waste all that money.

My dad ran across a truck full of Mercedes cars filled with bullet holes about a month ago and so naturally talked to the truck driver about it. They were from the movie. And they said they had already taken like 200+ cars to scrap.

I also have a buddy who works on a C130 in which they've been using to film to push cars out of. He's been sending me some sweet pics of some cars and trucks...but they're all pancaked now. Too bad I can't share the pics.

 

yea they hold all the records for most used/destoryed cars..but come on..they were car movies..what did you expect?

those movies where actually big break throughs in a lot of ways.

 

You know automakers send the cars to them just for that right? Its advertising to have their cars in those movies..

 

Still doesn't change the fact they destroy so many and waste that money. lol Or destroy old muscle cars that can't be replaced.

And I've seen plenty of good car movies that don't have to destroy them in the process lol CGI PEOPLE! lol

They didn't use Barrett Jackson cars... Most were cheap kit cars.

 

lol thats one of the things about them that is unique by todays standards. The director hates visual effects. He does everything as much as possible with real stunts haha

 

This.. also you act like other films don't just throw money at anything and everything to make their movies better

 

My friend sent me a picture of a handful 1969 Camaro's with corvette engines in them. These were not kit cars...and they pushed them out of the plane. He even said it made him sick to see them destroyed.

 

I'm not talking about other movies. I'm talking about Fast and Furious. I don't care about new cars. It's the old ones that are irreplaceable.

 

I'm willing to bet they were year one cars. You are too gullible. The producers can't afford to wreck a bunch of expensive cars. I doubt they were even VINed for the road.

 

They aren't actual old cars that anyone can buy..

Lauren seriously.. they dont use real legit 1969 camaros.. companies build these cars to look exactly like the old ones.

Why would a movie with a cast of car enthusiasts go in and destroy a bunch of classics.. I mean feel free to think what you want and boycott all you want but youre wrong..

 

It would pain me to see those camaro's destroyed!

 

Dude it says right in the movie fine print the cars are replicas. They aren't going to crash a yenko Camaro chevelle ss or real charger considering they are worth a ton of coin.
