I'm debating about whether to intern this summer or take summer school and finish up classes


either get paid $3500 over the summer to do research at a local energy initiative, or finish my classes and graduate on time

I wouldn't even consider doing unpaid internships... I haven;t even heard of them in our field.

Most of ours at the career fair start about $15 an hour

i wish i would have done an internship. i really think that is the only thing that has set me back some. but im getting paid decently for my first year at a small company and i should be getting a raise soon too. but experience is what i really want.

 

jesus thats a big miss of an opportunity. Was porbably in Canada or AK though and an all summer gig. So no need to pay for food or housing either. But i bet the guy didn't want to give up his entire summer.

You can always go back though when your done with active duty and for damn cheap because of your service.

Ohh, it's tempting, but to be a game warden i have to have a 4 year degree (in anything) so i'm building credits to get a auto tech bachelors.

ha no we arent that big to really need interns. theres maybe 15 ppl that work here. (to be honest i dont enjoy it)
