    It's always nice to be the guy that the higher ups like in your squadron!

    Had to show up yesterday on my weekend at 9:00 a.m. last minute to do some training. Went over paperwork and was out of there by 9:05.

    Got a call last night saying that the guy that went over my paperwork with me was wrong and that I had to come in again on my weekend at 7:00 this morning to fly for a little bit to finish training, couldn't just complete the paperwork.

    Was scheduled to come in at 10:45 tonight(which I was prepared to have to do), but because they screwed me over they gave me the day off and I go to work tomorrow night at 10:45 instead, and then get another day off. :D

    Got a little wiring project to do today... wanna run my idea by you guys. I'm planning on wiring up a second battery to run stuff while the truck is off. I'm gonna run a hot wire from the main battery too. I'm planning on a switch in the wire between batteries so I close the circuit when the truck is on to charge the second battery and open it when using stuff so I don't drain the main battery. Does this sound ok to everyone else?

    It's cold as hell out there. Have fun.

    However, I think I would run a battery isolator. If your secondary battery is low, when you flip that switch it will drain your starting battery to recharge itself. If it doesn't get recharged in time you're fucked.

    Good point... didn't think of that. I'll see what they got at O'reilly. I might just go with a "manual battery isolator" and not flip that switch until I know I'm gonna be driving long enough to recharge it
