FWIW I saw a midlife crisis looking dude with an RS7 in LA a few weeks ago.

Of the supercharger... I wanna see if the M62 off of a cobalt SS is the same as the M62 that came with the TRD kit so I can just buy the manifold from LCE and piece my own kit together.. Being a tightass mostly haha

Found that, but from what I've found they can differ in mounting pattern and nosecone length. Magnuson builds them for each individual OEM to their specs. From what the guy at LCE said on the phone they didn't spec theirs to anything special, just built the manifold around the "standard" MP-62. So I wanted something to compare to the cobalt blower

 

hmmm...i do not see how that would be of any benefit..take too much custom work and part scrounging. Better off finding a 1st gen gray TRD SC and rebuilding it.

 

He's asking $100 for the blower, there's the benefit right there. As long as the rotors are in good shape new bearings and oil is cheap, then I just need the manifold. Assuming this blower is identical to the one that came with the TRD kit.

In doing more research the cobalt came with the MP-62 and the TRD was the M62, so it's kinda looking like it won't work.

 

isn't there that TRD blower still FS in the FS section for a 4 banger? like 1500 or something? seems pretty cheap to boost it really..

 

I just barely remembered on Tuesday when we were dancing, some guy made it rain on us...with one dollar...and he picked it back up and kept it afterward.

I don't know, but 100 is less than 1500. Not sure what the manifold costs though
