Monnin..... Today will be a trolling Craigslist day for me.

 

unless you are an experienced driver who knows how to drive, knows the type of terrain, and already pushes your rig I dont think you will get to the point where the 32 vs 33s hold you back. You will be to busy trying to absorb the sheer AWESOME that the entire town and that area of the state emits. also side note, dont waste the money on the arb JUST for moab. i guarantee you dont need it. save the money for a saftey net if shit breaks.

dont get hung up when you see others talking about carnage, and skids and bumpers and 33s vs 35s...some people are just at different levels and want to push their rigs different. What matters more than the rig is the driver, and my first year I was as green as they fucking come, at the first trail head i stared blankly at everyone airing down their tires

but the great thing about that area is it really has a lot to offer for everyone. plenty of great trails if you are not comfortable with technical or steep or off camber shit. And there is stuff that guarantees to destroy rigs if you try it. I guess just read past threads and ask questions and read the list of trails and see what ones look good. I would say in a slightly modded tacoma you can do everything up to a 6 without the thread of damage. 7 starts to get more difficult (have to factor in bypasses) and 8 is starting to get pretty serious


I recommend starting out on 7 mile rim haha, thats what we did. i was puckering for a good bit of that, i want to go back now and see how different it seems, and there seems to be a yearly "welcome to moab hells revenge" run as well

Goin to shred some back country this Saturday. Maybe Sunday morning as well. Trying to find a good deal on some new skis to tele on.

 

Friend of mine invited me to go snowboarding with him Saturday. Never been before....

 

so fucking tired..i shouldnt have laid down the D this morning..shoulda just used that as more sleep time..

He's the guy that builds up Tacomas and sends them to South America most of the time.

 

I love snowboarding, I made it my living for a few years. Got bored with it then switched to tele skiing. It's the most challenging winter sport I have ever done. Started skiing at 3 years old, snowboarding at 13, and made the switch to tele at 25. I still snowboard a few times a year though

 

He commented on his own picture like 30 times in a row with nothing in between... that was the last straw I left the group haha.


Where you going snowboarding? Snow creek in Weston?
