After he hit my truck, obviously my dad got out to be like "wtf?" at him. He was obviously drugged up on something and started swinging his skateboard at my dad's head and coming towards him aggressively. My dad told him to stop repeatedly and backed away as he approached. He said back the hell up because I have a weapon and he still kept coming. So drew it and pointed it at him and he STILL kept coming and swinging. My dad circled the truck about twice while I was on the phone with 911. All the while the kid was yelling "shoot me! fucking shoot me! I want to die!"

When he saw an opportunity, my dad swung with his non-dominant hand and punched him in the nose. With his nose all bloody he kind of half came to his senses and ran off. My dad followed him but the cops still didn't catch him.

A district attorney witnessed the entire thing and said he did everything right and had full right to shoot. But he chose not to.

So tell me again, how idiotic I sound?

 

Your dad wasn't trapped. Unless Colorado is a stand your ground state he should have tried every possible escape route before using force.

I was typing a big spiel over how i have x amount of problems...but then said fuck it. Nearly half of the world’s population live on less than $2.50 a day. More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty (less than $1.25 a day) and a quarter of all humans live without electricity, and yall are complaining because you broke up a relation ship, or somebody is being a retard on the internet or your truck broke.

Im just thankful i have a roof over my head, i have food to eat, and my family is all safe and healthy and i am privileged enough to have access to the things that I do.
