she's had...things happen to her of which I'm her sole confidant. Therapy didn't help.

I'm getting rid of everything, but I won't completely cut off communication until I know she won't off herself.

Based on what little I know of the situation, I highly doubt you'd be her sole confident. Or that therapy wasn't helping. Or that some of those things even happened to her to begin with. I worked with liars/manipulators/con artists for a living and they'll do/say anything they want if its beneficial to their end. Dude, if she lied to your face about another guy as easily as she did, then there's no doubt in my mind the same goes for anything else.

 

That's how you grow as a person. It sucks, but you come out a better man on the other side

Yeah part of it is just time. I haven't had any regret dumping any of the pictures I had with her in them. Only ones I kept were pdf screen shots from her FB that she thought I couldn't see and also the 50 billion-ish photos she took of her own tits. You know, for legal purposes. She was/is quite the narcissist.

 

Gotta keep those for legal purposes. I'm the son of an attorney so that makes me qualified to review the evidence
