This. Not enough dry pavement to even gather speed. I was making small dry spots by spinning the tires but then is get stuck again.

At least you're in a Z and it's understandable to get stuck... when I have to ask for a tow it's always "you drive a jap truck AND it's 2wd? You're an idiot yadda yadda yadda"

I just lock the rear, do a few donuts and then plow through a snow drift. Then if I get stuck I just throw it 4lo :p

Haha I bet that gets old. If I had chains I could get up the hill. But I'm not quite sure what the law is here. Reason I want 4x4 and just to have fun in the snow

I know KS law allows them, not sure about in town here though. They do pretty damn good snow removal though, probably only need to chain up if you're crossing into MO haha.

I think I'll get a set this winter so I don't get intimate with any more guard rails.

Meant to get my tires siped before it snowed, but being at about 23psi they're doing pretty well as long as I'm in 4wd. When I first get these tires and they were at over 30psi, it was iffy sometimes in 4wd

I can do fine once I get to the streets, it's this stupid hill on our coldesac that I have issues. It just wouldn't make since to put chains on to get up the hill then take them off.

Just shovel the road so you can get some speed.

Haha I know. All the streets are plowed elsewhere just not neighborhood streets.

Buy a set of maxtraxxs and keep them in your car. You'll be able to use them if you ever get a Tacoma too.
