Out of curiosity comparing to mine lol

I found them. 2nd gens have less hip room surprisingly.

 

I think that is too wide.

I have all the original paperwork for mine. 90's Toyota brochures are the greatest.

Well they have the same amount of leg room, 2 inches more headroom and 3 inch more shoulder room. Just less hip room.


Though this website is only letting me view the specs for a standard cab first gen.

Yeah I'm lucky to break 200 miles per tank in my runner with winter gas.

Agreed, I already get mad at some of the mtn passes because of the motor I have. I feel I'd roll back down with the 4cly haha. Although after all that money I spent on the motor it runs better than ever and is holding speeds really well.

Yeah mine is never at 46mph. I drive mostly highway so it normally sitting about 80mph.

 

My favorite part about driving is going the speed limit and watching everyone get pissed. 55 zones are the best

Blackhawke88 drove around w/o cv axles for a while he had plugs in there or something. Maybe something like that.

Yeah I set my cruise a little above the posted and call it good.

 

This is why I'm going to just do a core charge through ECGS when it comes time to order front and rear gears.

I'm just going to buy a new diff for the front, and a whole rear 3rd assembled. Then just send them my stock diff and third when I'm done.

 

I think you would be better off just doing it the first time, you'll save money in the long run.

 

Hmm, yeah. Just remove the cv's, diff, and driveshaft. Should be good to go... I think haha

Yeah you can use one but I had a ton of fun even being open/open on 32's. A rear locker will get you through 99% of the trails there with ease.

I was going to come, but I'm going to be taking about 2 weeks of leave in March. So I won't be able to request off for that also.

 

I've never been there, but I agree when it comes to all of the trails I've been on.

There's been only a couple times that I wished I had a front locker, so it's worth it for what I like haha I just don't spin a lot when trying to climb stuff, so I'd rather have a front locker so I don't tear stuff up.
