    What you should do to make sure your alternator isn't fried is hook the battery up anto another vehicle and drive around for a while. If it works fine then you know your alternator is killing your batteries.

    But everything you're saying just sounds like a bad battery to me.

    My dad is a Ford guy. Ford trucks anyways. My mom wanted the Toyota. But she wanted a black 4wd. But my dad said she didn't need it that's why I have a white 2wd lol And I love all old trucks...I grew up in my Ford so I'm partial to that body style
