I can imagine I remember how early spring used to start when I lived in Plano. It was 55 degrees here today in NY which is rare

Was really windy here in Colorado today. We were supposed to get about a foot of snow on Saturday but didn't get enough to cover the grass...not sure who screwed up there.

Do you feel as old as you really are?

I am turning 26 in a couple of weeks and remember when I was in 4th grade thinking that anyone over 20 is old. Well I am past that, my buddy has a 5 year old and I am sure he looks at me like I am an adult. My wife and I are completely financially independant from our parents and we both have full time jobs that we drag ourselves to every weekday morning. She is getting into the "child bearing mode" as her biological clock keeps ticking along - we are adults on the outside! But I still feel the same as a 15 year old on the inside. My teenage cousin and I hangout from time to time and talk about whatever, but we still have the same interests and think on the same level regarding a lot of topics. Does a person ever feel like an adult or are they always a kid who knows when to enter 'serious' mode?

I dont think we as males ever truely "grow up". think about it, we still have "toys" they just get bigger and more expensive.

hot wheels turn into actual cars and trucks
cap guns turn into real guns
bmx bikes turn into dirt bikes (sometimes) - mtn bike for me.

We still like to play outside and go on "adventures"...camping, hiking, ect.

Im 27 and have an almost 3 year old son. I took him to Target on saturday to buy him his first Lego set. I also got myself a set .
After he goes to bed my wife and I will play Xbox together.

So to answer your question, I dont think a lot of people ever "feel like adults", we just have to be mature enough to make adult decisions and handle more responsibility.

I'm definitely a kid at heart, I still like doing stupid shit without thinking about the effects. However, I do have the maturity to know right and wrong and how to stay safe and out of trouble. I think most of it is who you interact with and what you do on a continual basis. I bond better with older, more mature people so that's how I am.
