    It just seems like it would become a hassle when having to back up, turn around or get out of the way for somebody.

    I want to get more off road experience before I want to add another axle and set of tires into the mix haha

    Or just get scrap metal and start practicing. It's not hard to make good welds just by watching a video real quick and then practice it.

    He has a sensitive stomach......we have busted out the carpet cleaner more than once :mad:

    But he can't really help it sometimes. My dad was telling me the other morning my dog was taking a dump. Well he farted and scared himself.

    Weld a little bit here and there for about a couple weeks. Then once you understand the method of getting the metal hot enough and wire/gas speed down to penetrate what you're welding then I don't see any issue with somebody welding on sliders.

    That's how I learned; watching vids and getting tips from people I know that weld(ed). I can now do nice mig welding and some fab work. Working in the railroad industry definitely helps too. A lot of in the field fab work going on.
