Why the hell not?

 

I just did 3k in fixing things that needed to be done. It will go on eventually, I just keep buying other things I don't need.

 

Adding hp to a brick doesn't really make it more fun

For me the worst part of getting in my truck after driving cars is taking a turn. Fells like turning a marshmallow.

 

The 3.4 is a beast supercharged if done right. I've seen them run 14 sec 1/4 miles on big tires out here. 14 sec is good here in CO for an SUV.

 

That's even decent for a car. Gotta be running more boost, tune, and headers though right?

 

I need one...

 

And the 7th injector kit. But even without it makes a huge difference on the 3.4. They did something right on that charger it turns that motor into beast mode.

 

Dunno if i want to SC then LT or LT then SC.

 

If you haven't driven a SC'd 3.4 do it and you'll make your mind up quick fast and in a hurry.

 

IDK my buddy had a 2002 4runner with the TRD supercharger on it. It sounded cool but I feel like my truck with the 5 speed was just as peppy.

He just had the stock pulley and the 7th injector on it though.

 

Then somethig was wrong with it. Because it's a big difference. Very noticeable, that's also why I didn't do mine yet. I did ever piece of maintainance I could do before doing the charger so it will be ready when I decide to charge it.

Also was the charger black or grey? That makes a difference too.

I'm fairly content with the power i have, and my next mods (after my before trip mods) will be slider, front bumper, and rear bumper, the LT and supporting mods, or SC and supporting mods, then skids (skids might get bumped up the list)

Yes!! It changes the whole driving experience of the 3.4!!

 

If my trans ever goes out i'll be dropping in a 5spd, that will help some with the power to.

 

My X-Runner was SCed. Damn I miss it

 

I wanted a supercharger, but now I think I'm going to leave it how it is. The less moving parts the better on something that I want to travel the country in now that I think about it.

 

Exactly, so if I ever do get another Tacoma it'll be the one I try to supercharge.

 

It was the second gen sc (black). I wonder if the 4runner is a lot heavier than the taco? Either way I'd totally get one if I needed to tow a lot and didn't have 200k miles
