    Just took my new (to me) MTB out to hit the jumps behind my house. Damn! 10" of suspension is sweet! I was hitting stuff I didn't hit before on my DJ bike. The rear spring is a bit soft and the rebound is too fast. I'll get the spring changed and the shock serviced at the same time. Such a sweet bike!

    The frame is a Karpiel (which isn't that great) but it has good Hayes hydraulic disc brakes and really good suspension components. The drive line is solid too. The hubs on it are almost the size of dinner plates! It's built to take some abuse. It's a DH bike but I have good jumps behind my house and a DH bike does well on them. I'll ride it as is until I find a better frame that I can afford and then I'll swap everything over to it.

    Here's a pic of the front hub. The rear is the same size. For comparison, the front disc rotor is 203mm.
