    Damn semi trucks were stuck at the hill north bound by the berthoud exit. And there was a "dirt" path across to the frontage road. So I took that all the way up to Johnstown. :)

    This happened to me when I lived in AZ. I crossed the Gore Point in an attempt to exit a traffic-filled freeway (which is apparently illegal but commonplace in CA (where I came from and learned to drive)) and a DPS officer on a motorcycle was sitting there waiting for suckers like me to do exactly what I did. Pulled me over, told me what I did, and said he was gonna cite me. I plead with him to just give me a warning because I didn't know I did something illegal, and he ended up just citing me for not having my DL on me. He took it easy on me becasue I had a CDL at the time and no points on my driving record. I just had to go to the court and show I had my license to clear the no DL citation. I found out that if he had cited me for the Gore Point, it would've been a $1,200 fine and a few points on my license :eek::eek:
