What about the other spray application bed liners? Are they any cheaper?

Rhino Liner is really the only other option for professionally sprayed. It's cheaper, but is softer and more rubbery where Line-x is harder and smoother.

A work truck I had had Line-X and I didn't like it. It was too smooth. Stuff slid around in the bed a lot. I had a gallon of liquid graphite spill in the bed because it slid around. I think I'd prefer Rhino. Plus, in your cold climate, Rhino might be better because it should retain its flexibility better than the Line-X.

Yeah, I'm going to copy BoxRocket anyways in building a platform to use to to bolt things down so I don't drill a bunch of holes in the bed.

I wanna pull off the stupid plastic shit on top of the edges of the bed on my 14 and bed line that, but I saw some pictures and it looks like there's some holes on top, I haven't actually taken mine off to check though. But I know that plastic is going to cause some problems especially if there's weight on it.

I think relentless makes some diamond plate steel covers to replace the plastic. Im not 100% sure though let me check

edit: aluminum or steel not sure if steel is diamond though http://www.relentlessfabrication.us/online-store.php#!/~/product/category=3368787&id=14637896

You mean that stuff my 2nd gen already has :p

Yes there are holes. One guy pulled them off, Saran wrapped the bed enough then filled the plastic with silicone and put them back on so it formed to the bed. Let dry then trim rubber/Saran wrap or take off to get Saran Wrap.

This way the are supported along the entire rail.

Relentless sounds cool, but personally if rather save the money doing it the long way. Unless I just had money to burn.

Yeah there's also no pictures. I just hate the plastic shit. Like I'm debating having a body shop plug the holes and rhino line just the top of the bedsides where the plastic would be.
