I keep my torque wrench in the truck

 

We keep a bunch of extra tools in the f-250, but in my truck i only carry 4 bottles of water, jumper cables, a 12 ton bottle jack with handles, and the factory stuff, in my sis's truck she only has the factory stuff (and maybe jumper cables).

My 95 5 lug had a tool kit under the back seat, had a 10 and 12mm wrench, screw driver, and a pair of pliers, plus the jack and it's accessories, i don't think my new truck has that kit though.

My goal is to just find a guy who's into mods like I am. I was always excited when my ex was doing stuff to his truck.

And actually, finding a guy into them is not exactly easy either lol

 

haha yes indeed. however there are by far more guys that arent into modding their truck like we are. the trick is to find somone who is into modding it and then actually using the dam thing haha. most of the time guys just throw on big tires and other stupid crap then go play in a little mud puddle and call it off roading.

but ya, finding a cool girl in any of the sports hobbies I do can be a bit of a challenge. not many gals ride motorcycles, off road, or snowboard well haha. finding girls that snowboard is the easiest of the 3 haha

 

I seem to run into car guys. I don't care much for Ferrari talk.

Umm no lol. At least he had an FRS, but I actually wasn't very impressed with it.

but ya, frs is cool...but i like the brz better between the two, despite the fact that they are fundamentally the same car

 

also agree with this very much however at the same time im just not into cars like all of my friends are. they are big into turbos and tuning and 8000 different wheel sets and little nit picky stuff, but i could care less haha. i certainly like cars and appreciate everything they are doing with them and am down to help work on em...but basically all the things i care about on my truck dont apply to their cars. so my friends make fun of me when i ask basic turbo questions, however when i start throwing out gear ratios and axle numbers and suspension set ups they just give me a blank look

I dunno. The FRS seemed pretty slow to me. Not enough powah!

Plus I don't like being so close to the ground. Can't straddle things in the road and no match if you hit a truck lol

 

What do axle housings with the elocker mount generally sell for?

 

dont like being low to the ground haha i think its fun. My buddy recently traded his slammed 4dr integra, that thing was like 2" off the ground. It was literally like off roading, on the road. pot holes, railroad crossings, dips in the road, all had to be navigated and avoided. plus of course the thing was stiff as hell and handled like a go kart. ALSO super awkward to get in and out. Im pretty average at 6', and when its that low you have to duck down and some how slide sideways to get under the door frame.


also on that same note, i was driving and there was this plastic tote thing in the road, and i was watching everyone panic at the last second and swerve to avoid it. with my best no fucks given face i just drive straight over top of it and dont even touch it lol. then the car behind me didnt see me swerve to go around so once he saw it appear from under my truck at the last second he almost lost it into a ditch he reacted so quickly.

i picked up my empty housing from a junk yard "supposedly in good condition with rust" for 250 haha. but ya, i would venture somewhere in that ball park

Hm. At those prices it's almost worth it to just get a rock assault axle.
