This!!! I didn't pay much attention in high school anyway. But did good and got into every college that I applied to.

 

So then why does eliminating ag classes or not having your kids attend a school with an ag program matter?

How is your statement any different if I were to say "I don't want my kid attending schools that offer metal work and graphic design"?

And high school cooking classes are mainly for basic skills to teach kids not to starve to death lol

some of the highest ranked, most expensive schools in the country are here (HPA and Punahou, where Obama went)

And I have met more fucktards from these schools than from "normal" public schools

rankings and prestige don't mean jack shit if your kids a fuckup.

imo it's 80% kid, 20% school.

don't make your kid take an AG class then. problem solved

Nice photo! I just went two days ago. The back country is getting sketchy around me right now with all this hot weather so I'm done till it gets cold again. I only back country beause it's fun and I'm too cheap for a season pass haha!! And looking where your location is you're just on the other side of the state.

Haha yeah, I agree that all that matters is your GPA. I had a 3.6 I think and I never even tried. The joys of being in a class full of dumb people

 

It helps when trying to get into elite schools. Also higher ranked schools tend to produce better test scores, more AP exams, and generally better prepared for college. Schools look at that to determine which applicants will be able to actually succeed in their school. Top rated universities make their living on rejection, not failure rate.

I got accepted to every college I applied for...my classmate got a Gates Millennium scholarship to Harvard and a few friends of mine are at cornell and stanford

Not really... If you know how to fill out the applications and get through the entrance interviews, where you went to high school means jack shit.

 

My school had the highest SAT scores, gpas, graduation percentage, and highest percentage to move onto college.

Having said that we also had the most ODs, highest percentage of drug users, teenage pregnancies, and arrests for weed and underage drinking..

Just because a school looks good on paper doesnt mean it really is

 

we just sent shit to space!!
