    I don't have that much experience with Maui, I'm mostly between Hawaii island, oahu and Kauai

    but Maui has some pretty cool things to do

    getting into Haleakala park is $10 IIRC, but it's ridiculously nice, and if you want to hike, you can hike into/around haleakala crater
